ANDRZEJ REJMAN, composer, improviser
For many years he has been involved in creative activity in the field of music.
His activity focuses on three main areas in parallel - it is
music for film, radio and television, it is songs, and it is improvised music. Since the 1980s, his music, available, among others, in the
phonograph library of the Documentary Film Studio (WFD in Warsaw) , has been used by film, radio and television, and film producers.
Since 1998, he has been creating for Nightingale Music in Toronto, a publishing house, now a part of Associated Production Music.
He is a scholarship holder of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage 2022, the Capital City of Warsaw 2011/2012, and a multiple scholarship holder of the ZAiKS Authors' Association.
He is a member of the European Intuitive Music Conference (EIMC), and
the International Society of Improvised Music (ISIM)
He has played, among others. with Jerzy Mazzol, Piotr Mełech, Jose Lencastre, Ewa Cichoń, Tadeusz Sudnik, Mieczysław Litwiński, Piotr Dąbrowski, Jarosław Majewski, Jan Kiedrzyński, Jędrzej Łagodziński, Marta Grzywacz, Antonina Nowacka, Martyna Kabulska, Kuba Więcek (Jazz State jam session), Gianni Gebbia, Martin Zorzano, Raf Smoliński and many others.
As a songwriter he collaborated with Grażyna Auguścik, Aga
Zaryan, Robert Janowski, Jolanta Kaczmarek, Stanisław Klawe, Sławek
Wolski, Tadeusz Sadowski and Kasia Sokołowska.
Andrzej Rejman's music receives enthusiastic reviews especially among
lovers of calm but decisive sounds, among listeners who appreciate
impressionist music, but with a communicative harmonic structure and
clear melodies, among romantics, but also among people who need to
realize the power of their own dreams and abilities.
HELENA PEREK was born in 1984 in Minsk. She learned to play the flute in the class of Nina Avramenko, where under her supervision she graduated with honors from the Academy of Music in Minsk. As part of further improvement of her skills, she participated in numerous master classes led by outstanding musicians such as Frédéric Chatoux (France), Bruno Meier (Switzerland) and Elżbieta Gajewska (Poland). In 2013, she took part in the Summer Academy of Music in Krakow, where she studied under the supervision of Barbara Świątek-Żelazna.
She is a laureate of many national and international competitions (including 1st place - Ukraine 2003, 2nd place - Moldova 2002, Diploma - Russia 2002, 2001, 2nd place - Belarus 2002, 1999)
Her musical career includes numerous performances on stages both domestically and abroad, including France, Germany, Austria, Poland, Lithuania and Russia, presenting solo recitals, as well as collaborating with bands and orchestras. Since 2002 she has been a member of the flutists' ensemble "Syrinx" from Minsk, with whom she has recorded albums and toured. In the years 2007-2013 she was also a member of the Mixed Choir of the Wawel Cathedral in Krakow.
She regularly improved her skills and knowledge by participating in
prestigious conferences and festivals, such as the 1st International Flute Congress in Łódź (2017), the International Flute Meeting in Kraków
(2017), the Flute Meeting in Katowice (2018) and the International Conference “Colours of Wind Instruments” in Poznań (2018, 2019, 2020). In 2019, she took part in the 1st International Flute Festival in Minsk
She has lived in Warsaw since 2016. Despite her classical education,
she became interested in improvisation, experimental and electronic music,
composition and music production. Working on the border of various
styles, Helena Perek is in constant search of new inspirations and sounds, open to new musical experiences.
